He is recognized globally as the groundbreaking sell side analyst on public companies operating in Colombia and has written extensively on the country since 2008, as well as on other regions of South America (offshore Caribbean, Argentina), the UK North Sea and New Zealand.

Frederick Kozak holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta and currently works as Vice President, Capital Markets at United Hydrocarbon International Corp.
